Our live in-person classes require an 8 student minimum to hold the training. Please email the school at info@CeInstitute.com prior to booking nonrefundable travel to ensure we have the minimum attendance required to hold the class. Any student who displays physical signs of illness or disrespectful/inappropriate conduct will not be admitted and/or required to leave. This live course is approved by NCBTMB, FL, GA, SC, NH, MI & TN boards of massage and all states that accept NCBTMB hours. If you are taking this training for CE credit, please check with your own board to ensure you will receive the credit you need PRIOR TO registering or paying for this class.  There is a $25 cancellation fee to cancel for any reason, plus 7-days notice is required prior to the start of training to change or cancel or else there is no refund. Please click HERE to view all of our school FAQs & Policies. 

We provide massage tables and chairs so you do not need to bring yours to class. Students should bring 2 sheets, a handle towel and face cradle cover to participate in hands-on training. Hands-on practice is encouraged, but not required to receive CE credit.

    This 1-DAY 6 CE Hour Trigger Point Therapy class is offered as live, hands-on, in-person class on the following dates:

    All training will be provided with 10-minute breaks each hour of class plus a 30-minute meal break.

    This 6 CE Hour Trigger Point Therapy Live In-Person Class Reviews:

    • common places where trigger points are found
    • extensive review of human anatomy and musculature
    • how to apply pressure to relieve trigger points (and pain)
    • instructor demonstrations of individual trigger point application, entry point, amount of pressure to be used and length of time to hold trigger points
    • hands-on practice time of trigger point application
    • stories and reviews of trigger point theory
    • communication skills and practices with clients when applying trigger point therapy
    • includes a history review of the 1st female physician to a U.S. President and a "founder" of Trigger Point Therapy: Dr. Janet Travell

    This class includes anatomical and manual therapy pictures to show how and where to apply pressure in the body where common trigger points are found, and HOW pressure is commonly applied to relieve them.  By the end of class, you should be able to identify common trigger point sites and know how to apply pressure to the area to relieve the trigger point!

    This trigger point training will also include intra-oral work (briefly inside your own mouth). We will provide latex free gloves for intra-oral work, and students may bring their own gloves to work in their own mouths. Students will not be able to perform intra-oral work on themselves or others without new fresh gloves for each practice.
