24 CE FL LMT Renewal Home Study Package Lava Lomi Massage™ with Sanitation Training Elective

Our mission is to help students earn legitimate CE credit for government relicensing purposes. We do have some requirements of our own to provide this. PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE THIS NONREFUNDABLE, TIME-SENSITIVE TRAINING UNLESS YOU READ AND FOLLOW: 

1. Please do not register for this training unless you mean to legitimately complete it. Training must be 100% completed to earn CE credit and reporting. Partial credit and CE reporting are NOT available to students who have incomplete training and/or attempt to fast forward or skip through our training videos. We report fully completed 24 CE packages to CE Broker every 48 hours, and we report them daily during the last 15 days of August.

2. Students must purchase training with their own payment method in their licensed name which MATCHES their license # for CE reporting. Please do not allow anyone other than the student/licensee to purchase, contribute, take or complete any element of this training. Self-reporting your own CE hours is required when your licensed name does not match your registered student name.

3. This massively discounted 24 CE package includes everything an active FL MT requires to renew their license for the Aug 31, 2025, 2023 & 2021 renewal periods, including the "hands-on"/relevant to massage CE credit that used to be required live, in-person. This package can NOT be used towards Florida's Aug 31, 2027 renewal, and is only eligible for FL MT Board & NCBTMB CE credit. Because FL LMT laws training is included in this package, it is NOT eligible for CE credit with other boards. 

4. A laptop or desktop computer with stable internet connection is required to complete this computer based training. Please do not attempt to use lesser devices such as a cell phone or tablet with this online training.

5. These 24 CE packages must be completed within 31-days from the minute of purchase before they automatically expire/deactivate. Please immediately start training  after purchase, because training extensions are not available for any reason, including tech issues.

6. Training is 100% prerecorded videos, quizzes and a survey which you can watch/take 24/7, until your course access expires. Students can take their quizzes as many times as needed until passing, or until their course access expires. The boards require a passing grade of 70%.

7. Course subjects are automatically provided in a specific order that cannot be changed. Please purchase courses separately if you wish to take your training in a different order.

8. All 24 CE hours of training must be completed online, in our home study system for CE credit. The videos we use to teach this training are not distributed offline and cannot be downloaded. Students can download a large amount of companion training pdf files to keep forever during their course access time.

9. Our automated computers email a training course access link immediately after purchase. You can also login to your paid training at lms.CeInstitute.com with your registered email address, and then use the "Forgot Password" link if you did not set up a password, or cannot remember it.

This 24 CE FL LMT renewal package includes everything required to renew an active Florida Massage Therapist license. Your hands-on CE class combines 6 hours Lomi Lomi Hawaiian Massage with 6 hours of Hot Stone Bodywork Massage.  The lomi portion of class teaches the ancient temple style with strokes from heel to head and back.   Class consists of a brief history lesson about Hawaii and lomi practice, plus a quick review of Hawaiian Principles and the Hawaiian heiau.  

We will use bolsters, the face cradle and top/bottom sheets (draping is with full sheets instead of a towel).   Genitalia and breast tissue are covered with draping at all times; however, in prone position, 1/2 the body is exposed from head to heel for long body stroking (no gluteal cleveage or genitalia are exposed). 

The lomi strokes that will be demonstrated in this basics class include:

• Prone: Short & Long Back Strokes
• Prone: Hand & Forearm Strokes Heel to Head (and back)
• Prone: Heel to Wrist Stroking (and back)
• Additional lomi strokes as time permits during our 6 hours of lomi - and throughout the stone massage practical

In the 6 hours of Hot Stone Massage, students will learn:

• A hands-on full body Lomi Massage™

Additional Instructor Demonstrations are included and students can practice long Lomi Lomi ancient temple style bodywork strokes with their own model during this course.

This Lomi massage class was written and is taught by CE Institute LLC Founder, Selena Belisle.  Selena has been practicing massage therapy for 30 years.  She started with sports massage in 1989, and later sought formal “full body” massage therapy training in a 1,000+ hour program at the Massage Institute of New England in Cambridge, Massachusetts.  It was at the Massage Institute in 1995 where Selena met and trained with a student of Kahuna Abraham Kawai`i.  Selena’s instructor (Christine), taught Selena her first strokes in Ancient Temple Style Lomi Massage and other authentic Hawaiian cultural practices.  Selena was drawn into Hawaiian history and healing practices when she learned about the ahupua'a system in the 1990s.  Selena’s practice/study of Ancient Temple Style Lomi Lomi Massage and Hawaiian culture/history spans 25 years. She has trained and practiced in both Ancient Temple Style and Auntie Margaret/Big Island style Lomi Massage.

In more recent years, Selena completed an intensive week-long Lomi Lomi workshop by Harry Uhuane & Sila Jim in: Creating Space, Bone Washing, Po'o, Lomi HA, Kala'e, and Laulima.  The course was created and taught by Halau Uhane Lomilomi Lapa'au, School for Sacred Soul Teaching and Healing through Native Hawaiian Culture Traditions in 2018.  In 2017, Selena studied Lomi Massage in Maui and Big Island Hawaii.  This included a month-long trip to multiple heiaus, a sacred-sites tour by a native Hawaiian Lomi Brother, another 3-day Lomi Massage course in Pahoa from Kalani Honua Inc., working with half a dozen other native lomi massage practitioners, participating in several different special Hawaiian practices amongst the Hawaiian people and visiting even more ancient and revered Hawaiian places and settings.  Selena has also completed the Sacred Lomi Hawaiian Temple Bodywork workshop and several more lomi massage trainings with other various Lomi “instructors” – some being authentic - and some not. 

This includes her geology studies of volcanic basalt and minerals plus her aromatherapy studies of indigenous Hawaiian plants – many of which are (or were) used for medicinal purposes.  Selena invites her lomi students to join her Hawaiian trips and explorations, as means to spread the word of our Hawaiian culture. Selena’s experience with true Hawaiians is that they are a giving people who want to share their heritage (so that it is not lost) – which is what Selena achieves amongst her students in her authentic lomi massage classes.
