24 CE FL LMT Renewal Home Study Package Onsite Event, Sports & Chair Massage Practices & Routines with Sanitation Training Elective

Our mission is to help students earn legitimate CE credit for government relicensing purposes. We do have some requirements of our own to provide this. PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE THIS NONREFUNDABLE, TIME-SENSITIVE TRAINING UNLESS YOU READ AND FOLLOW: 

1. Please do not register for this training unless you mean to legitimately complete it. Training must be 100% completed to earn CE credit and reporting. Partial credit and CE reporting are NOT available to students who have incomplete training and/or attempt to fast forward or skip through our training videos. We report fully completed 24 CE packages to CE Broker every 48 hours, and we report them daily during the last 15 days of August.

2. Students must purchase training with their own payment method in their licensed name which MATCHES their license # for CE reporting. Please do not allow anyone other than the student/licensee to purchase, contribute, take or complete any element of this training. Self-reporting your own CE hours is required when your licensed name does not match your registered student name.

3. This massively discounted 24 CE package includes everything an active FL MT requires to renew their license for the Aug 31, 2025, 2023 & 2021 renewal periods, including the "hands-on"/relevant to massage CE credit that used to be required live, in-person. This package can NOT be used towards Florida's Aug 31, 2027 renewal, and is only eligible for FL MT Board & NCBTMB CE credit. Because FL LMT laws training is included in this package, it is NOT eligible for CE credit with other boards. 

4. A laptop or desktop computer with stable internet connection is required to complete this computer based training. Please do not attempt to use lesser devices such as a cell phone or tablet with this online training.

5. These 24 CE packages must be completed within 31-days from the minute of purchase before they automatically expire/deactivate. Please immediately start training  after purchase, because training extensions are not available for any reason, including tech issues.

6. Training is 100% prerecorded videos, quizzes and a survey which you can watch/take 24/7, until your course access expires. Students can take their quizzes as many times as needed until passing, or until their course access expires. The boards require a passing grade of 70%.

7. Course subjects are automatically provided in a specific order that cannot be changed. Please purchase courses separately if you wish to take your training in a different order.

8. All 24 CE hours of training must be completed online, in our home study system for CE credit. The videos we use to teach this training are not distributed offline and cannot be downloaded. Students can download a large amount of companion training pdf files to keep forever during their course access time.

9. Our automated computers email a training course access link immediately after purchase. You can also login to your paid training at lms.CeInstitute.com with your registered email address, and then use the "Forgot Password" link if you did not set up a password, or cannot remember it.

Please keep your communications to one email thread which will help us respond faster than reviewing/responding to multiple emails under different threads. This 24 CE FL LMT renewal package includes everything required to renew an active Florida Massage Therapist license. In this onsite event massage class, we will learn a few different fully-clothed massage routines including: 

• half of the training will focus on marketing, setting up and practicing in 2 different portable chairs:
• most of the corporate seated chair massage demonstrations will be spent on back, neck, shoulder, arm, hand and hip massage in a regular seated massage chair
• two chair massage routines will be spent showing and practicing massage in a portable relaxing chair for onsite or corporate use
• very short hands-on practical chair massage routines will be demonstrated for:
• Vigorous Routine
• Hand & Arm Routine
• Lower Extremity & Foot Routine (in relaxing chair)
• Low Back Work
• Passive Head & Neck Routine
  
• Seated Chair Use with Triangular Wedge Cushion

MOST OF THE HANDS-ON TECHNIQUES USED IN THESE ROUTINES CAN BE ADAPTED TO REGULAR MASSAGE ROOM PRACTICE.

Extensive work preparation, guidelines and sanitary practices are provided to help students setup a successful operation for the many different practical scenarios that could be requested for a “Massage Event” in a sports, corporate or business setting beyond regular massage establishment appointments.  

Instructor Selena Belisle will also share her personal on-site massage work history which includes landing the cover of the Boston Business Journal for Corporate Chair Massage, coordinating and performing a 24-hour Chair Massage Event at a Hospital which was made available to 10,000 hospital employees, Onsite Sports Massage as it was performed in the Athens Greece Olympic Stadium, plus the execution of crisis and secondary responder event massage from her experience at Logan Airport for United Airlines Employees, Logan Airport Staff and Law Enforcement on 9/12, 9/13 & 9/14 after 9/11.  Scientific research about the efficacy of onsite massage will also be provided. 

Massage therapists should also feel confident to practice sports massage at sporting events such a triathlon, marathon, golfing outing, organized bicycle rides and more.  The same sports massage routine taught in this class can also be used on the sideline of competitive sports such as football, baseball, basketball, tennis and more.

12 CE Hour Onsite Event, Sports & Chair Massage Practices & Routines class includes the client intake process, thermal therapies including cryotherapy and a review of muscle physiology.  This is a well-balanced class that teaches many different thoughts, styles, sciences, histories and uses of onsite massage for high-volume events in public areas for fully clothed participants; and, it is also a great class for therapists to learn different routines and techniques to work with clients who do not want to undress or remove their clothing.

This sports massage class was written by CE Institute LLC Founder, Selena Belisle.  Selena Belisle teaches the majority of Sports Massage Classes at CE Institute LLC.  She specifically teaches all sports classes that do not list our other master instructors such as Ben Benjamin or Wendy Langen.

Selena has been practicing massage therapy for 30 years.  She started with sports massage when she was competing on Team USA in the Athens Greece Olympic Stadium for her 1^st World Championship title.  She went on to win 3 WAF World Titles in Arm Wresting and other various minor sport titles.  After the height of her professional athletic career, Selena sought formal “full body” massage therapy training in 1995 in a 1,000+ hour program at the Massage Institute of New England in Cambridge, Massachusetts – the same city where other schools such as MIT and Harvard University are located.

Selena’s sports massage background is a mix of real-life work situations and formal training from other massage and structural integration masters.  Selena has performed sports massage on the Team USA Arm Wresting Organization from 1989 to 1992.  She spent 10 years working on various players from the New England Patriots during the time that they succeeded to legendary status.  She led the pre-ride “warm-up” for over 1,000 riders in Boston’s World Trade Center, then performed 3-days of sports massage at the 1^st ever Boston to New York AIDS ride in 1995, amongst dozens of other sports “tent” massage events.  She has worked on players from every single team in the NFL, as well as athletes from the MLB, NBA and NHL.  Selena also worked for (and was sponsored by) Reebok from 1990 to 1992.

Selena has also taken extensive bodywork classes to strengthen her table skills for athletes.  This included classes in Neuromuscular Therapy, Structural Integration, Postural Integration, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Rolfing, Pain Management, Chinese Medicine, Stretching, Hyro, Cyro & Thermal Therapies, and of course, Sports Massage.
