This 24 CE FL LMT renewal package includes all CE hours required to renew a license for ONE renewal period. Licensees who have disciplinary requirements may require additional training. 12 CEs of this training package will include a 2-day hands-on, in-person, live class at our school at CE Institute LLC, 111 NE 1st Street, Miami, FL 32162. 

Our live in-person classes require an 8 student minimum to hold the training. Please email the school at info@CeInstitute.com prior to booking nonrefundable travel to ensure we have the minimum attendance required to hold the class. Any student who displays physical signs of illness or disrespectful/inappropriate conduct will not be admitted and/or required to leave.

This course is primarily provided for FL LMTs given it includes FL LMT Laws & Rules training. If you are taking this training for CE credit with a different license, please check with your own board to ensure you will receive the credit you need PRIOR TO registering or paying for this class.  There is a $50 cancellation fee to cancel for any reason, plus 7-days notice is required prior to the start of training to change or cancel or else there is no refund. We provide massage tables and chairs so you do not need to bring yours to class. Students should bring 2 sheets, a handle towel and face cradle cover to participate in hands-on training. Hands-on practice is encouraged, but not required to receive CE credit.

This 24 CE package also includes 12 FREE CEs of self-paced, online, home study training which includes all mandatory subjects plus a 5 CE hour medical massage course to make up your total 24 CE hour licensing requirement for one renewal cycle. You can purchase our 12 CE hands-on live in-person course for the same price as this 24 CE package.  PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE THIS TIME-SENSITIVE TRAINING PACKAGE UNLESS YOU READ AND FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS: 

  1. Please do not register for this training unless you mean to legitimately complete it. Online home study training must be 100% completed to earn CE credit and reporting. Partial credit and CE reporting are NOT available to anyone who attempts to fast forward or skip through our training videos which will create an incomplete and unreported training status. 

  2. Licensees must purchase training with their own payment method in their own licensed name which MATCHES their license # for CE reporting. Please do not allow anyone other than the student/licensee to purchase, contribute, take or complete any element of this training. Self-reporting your own CE hours is required when the licensed name does not match the student's registered name.

  3. This massively discounted 24 CE package is eligible for FL MT Board of Massage & NCBTMB CE credit. This training package may not be eligible for CE credit for other boards because it includes FL LMT Laws & Rules training. 

  4. A laptop or desktop computer with stable internet connection is required to complete the 12 CE hours of free computer based online home study training with this purchase. Please do not attempt to use lesser devices such as a cell phone or tablet because we do not have tech support avail, and we cannot assist when online training fails due to no fault of our own.  

  5. The FREE 12 CE hours of online home study training provided in this 24 CE FL LMT renewal package must be completed within 31-days from the minute of purchase before it is automatically deactivated and expires. Please immediately start training  after purchase, because training extensions are not available for any reason with this free home study training, including tech issues.

  6. The 12 CEs of online home study training is 100% prerecorded videos, quizzes and a survey which can be watched/taken 24/7, until the course access expires. Home study subjects are provided in a specific order with one CE certificate for all which cannot be changed. Students must watch 100% of the video training and can take their quizzes as many times as needed until passing, or until their course access expires. The boards require a passing grade of 70% with home study quizzes, while live in-person training only requires punctual and professional attendance. We recommend live in-person students arrive 30-minutes prior to the start of live training to sign-in, use the restroom, meet the other students and get settled because we always start live class on-time. Tardy in-person class arrivals could be denied entrance.

  7. All 12 FREE CE hours of home study training must be completed online, in our home study system for CE credit. The videos we use to teach this training are not distributed offline and cannot be downloaded or fast forwarded, skipped or missed to earn CE credit. Students can download a large amount of companion training pdf files to keep forever during their course access period, before the training expires.

  8. Our automated system emails a home study course access link immediately after purchase. You can also login to the free online home study training with purchase at lms.CeInstitute.com with your registered email address, and then use the "Forgot Password" link if you did not set up a password, or cannot remember it. If you do not receive this login link via email immediately after purchase, please check that we are not marked as spam. 

  9. CANCELLATION POLICY: We require 7-days written notice via email info@CeInstitute.com prior to the start of class to change or cancel your live in-person class.  Registration within 7-days of the start of class is nonrefundable. There is a $50 fee deducted from all cancellations/refunds made with 7-days notice prior to the start date of live training with this training package purchase, to cover the home study training costs, credit card merchant fees charged to provide a refund and the admin costs to process the cancellation, etc.

This Trigger Point Therapy & Myofascial Release class was written by CE Institute LLC Founder, Selena Belisle.  Selena teaches the majority of Myofascial & Trigger Point classes at CE Institute LLC (specifically when they do not list another one of our master instructors such as Ben Benjamin or Wendy Langen).

Selena has been practicing massage therapy for 30 years.  She started with sports massage in 1989 when she was competing on Team USA in the Athens Greece Olympic Stadium for her 1st World Championship title.  She went on to win 3 WAF World Titles in Arm Wresting and other various minor sport titles.  After the height of her professional athletic career, Selena sought formal “full body” massage therapy training in 1995 in a 1,000+ hour program at the Massage Institute of New England in Cambridge, Massachusetts.  Performing myofascial release and trigger point therapy was a core part of the Massage Institute’s curriculum. Selena went on to receive multiple live class NMT Certifications from 1997 to 1999 in Paul St. John Neuromuscular Therapy.  One of the most basics foundations of our NMT work from the 1990s was to relieve trigger points for optimal function and well-being.  She has also completed live class certifications in Myofascial Release with John Barnes (1990s), Robert King (2001) and George Kousaleos of the CORE Institute (2000), plus a series of online introductory courses in Anatomy Trains with Tom Myers (2016), another series of online theoretical myofascial technique courses with Til Lachua (from 2015 to 2018) and several other clinical, pain relief, trigger point and myofascial online classes with Theresa Schmidt, DPT, MS, OCS, LMT, CEAS, CHY, DD (from 2016 to 2017), amongst many other live and online classes in various modalities.  You can view a more complete list of Selena’s accolades including her publications, training and experience by clicking HERE.

She also spent another 5-years training and managing a 2nd staff as a Newbury Street Spa Owner in Boston, MA from 2005 to 2010.  Selena’s industry work history, training and teaching experience would be difficult to surpass.
