Our mission is to help students earn legitimate CE credit for government relicensing purposes. We do have some requirements of our own to provide this. PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE THIS NONREFUNDABLE, TIME-SENSITIVE TRAINING UNLESS YOU READ AND FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS: 

1. Please do not register for this training unless you mean to legitimately complete it. Training must be 100% completed to earn CE credit and reporting. Partial credit and CE reporting are NOT available to students who have incomplete training and/or attempt to fast forward or skip through our training videos. 

2. Students must purchase training with their own payment method in their licensed name which MATCHES their license # for CE reporting. Please do not purchase with someone else's payment method. Please do not allow anyone other than the student/licensee to purchase, contribute, take or complete any element of this training. Self-reporting your own CE hours is required when your licensed name does not match your registered student name.

3. This course is approved by NCBTMB, FL, SC, GA & TN boards of massage and all states that accept NCBTMB hours. FL Board accepts this home study course for "hands-on"/relevant to massage CE credit that used to be required for live, in-person training for the Aug 31, 2025, 2023 & 2021 renewal periods. It will count as general CE credit ONLY for Florida's Aug 31, 2027 renewal.  If you are taking this for CE credit and unsure if this course meets your CE requirements, please check with your own board to ensure you will receive the credit you need PRIOR TO registering or paying.

4. A laptop or desktop computer with stable internet connection is required to complete this computer based training. Please do not attempt to use lesser devices such as a cell phone or tablet with this online training.

5. This 12 CE hour course must be completed within 14-days from the minute of purchase before it automatically expires and is deactivated. Please immediately start training  after purchase, because training extensions are not available for any reason, including tech issues.

6. Training is 100% prerecorded videos, quizzes and a survey which you can watch/take 24/7, until your course access expires. Students can take their quizzes as many times as needed until passing, or until their course access expires. The boards require a passing grade of 70%.

7. All 12 CE hours of training must be completed online, in our home study system for CE credit. The videos we use to teach this training are not distributed offline and cannot be downloaded. Students can download a large amount of companion training pdf files to keep forever during their course access time.

8. Our automated system emails a training course access link immediately after purchase. You can also login to your paid training at lms.CeInstitute.com with your registered email address, and then use the "Forgot Password" link if you did not set up a password, or cannot remember it.

This Hawaiian massage class teaches mostly the Ancient Temple Style Lomi, with strokes from heel to head and back.  The majority of the class is hands-on practice time with extra emphasis on using forearms, oil and long strokes.

A solid review of Hawaiin history with lomi theory of practice is offered, including reviewing Ahupua’a, Ho'oponopono, chanting, gaining your own Sovereignty and the Hawaiian Heiau.

There is instructor demonstration which students are encouraged to watch, then there will be practice time provided where students can practice along with the instructor on their own model via webinar.    We will use bolsters, the face cradle and top/bottom sheets (draping is with full sheets instead of a towel).   Genitalia and breast tissue are covered with draping at all times; however, in prone position, 1/2 the body is exposed from head to heel for long body stroking (no gluteal cleveage or genitalia are exposed).

This Lomi massage class was written and taught by CE Institute LLC Founder, Selena Belisle.  Selena has been practicing massage therapy for 30 years.  She started with sports massage in 1989, and later sought formal “full body” massage therapy training in a 1,000+ hour program at the Massage Institute of New England in Cambridge, Massachusetts.  It was at the Massage Institute in 1995 where Selena met and trained with a student of Kahuna Abraham Kawai`I.  Selena’s instructor (Christine), taught Selena her first strokes in Ancient Temple Style Lomi Massage and other authentic Hawaiian cultural practices.  Selena became “hooked” in Hawaiian history and healing practices when she learned about the ahupua'a system in the 1990s.  Selena’s practice of Ancient Temple Style Lomi Massage and learning of ancient Hawaiian culture and practice spans 25 years. She has trained and practiced in both Ancient Temple Style and Auntie Margaret/Big Island style Lomi Massage.

In more recent years, Selena completed an intensive week-long Lomi Lomi workshop by Harry Uhuane & Sila Jim in: Creating Space, Bone Washing, Po'o, Lomi HA, Kala'e, and Laulima.  The course was taught created and taught by Halau Uhane Lomilomi Lapa'au, School for Sacred Soul Teaching and Healing through Native Hawaiian Culture Traditions in 2018.  In 2017, Selena studied Lomi Massage in Maui and Big Island Hawaii.  This included a month-long trip to multiple heiaus, a sacred-sites tour by a Hawaiian native Lomi Brother, another 3-day Lomi Massage course in Pahoa from Kalani Honua Inc., working with half a dozen other native lomi massage practitioners, participating in several different special practices amongst the Hawaiian people and visiting even more ancient and revered Hawaiian places and settings.  Selena has also completed the Sacred Lomi Hawaiian Temple Bodywork workshop and several more lomi massage trainings with other various Lomi “instructors” – some being authentic - and some not. 

Selena invites her lomi students to join her Hawaiian trips and explorations, as means to spread the word of our Hawaiian culture. This includes her geology studies of volcanic basalt and minerals for hot stone massage plus her aromatherapy studies of indigenous Hawaiian plants – many of which are (or were) used for medicinal purposes. Selena’s experience with true Hawaiians is that they are a giving people who share and share alike – which is what Selena achieves amongst her students in her authentic lomi massage classes.
