In this short 3 CE hour course, we'll teach how to use a variety of prenatal cushions for prenatal massage application.  We'll demonstrate both pronated work, and how to fold the cushions and have the client roll over into a semi-recumbent position, using the cushions to keep the client on a minimum 30 degree incline to protect their fetus and themselves. We will demonstrate a 50+ prenatal massage between pronated in the body cushion system and supinated at a 30 to 45 degree angle on a full-term pregnant client

We'll also demonstrate how to set up the cushions, the various accessories and bolstering suggestions that can be used with different body cushion systems, and we include some video from the bodyCushion manufacturer of how these cushions are designed and used to accommodate pregnant clients and massage therapists. Those will include both how the bodyCushion is designed and various prenatal applications that can be used with it.

Instructor Selena Belisle has been practicing massage therapy for over 30 years, and teaching prenatal massage for the past 20+ years.  She created one of the 1^st alternative health care practices in New England (from 1996 until she successfully sold the business in 2005), where she managed a staff of over 40 massage therapists, 4 acupuncturists and 4 chiropractors.  She spent another 5-years training and managing a 2^nd staff as a Newbury Street Spa Owner in Boston, MA from 2005 to 2010.  In 2011, Selena moved to South Beach Miami and founded CE Institute LLC.
