This brief 3 CE Hour Intro to Geriatric Massage class includes information about the aging process of geriatric skin, muscle, hair and bone, which is also known as senescence. Training will review:

• Bone & Osteoporosis Conditions
• Arthritic Conditions (covers: Osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Gout plus Heberden & Bouchard's Nodes)
• The Top 3 Deteriorations of the Human Spine (Spinal Stenosis, Spondylolisthesis & Disc Degeneration)
• Joint Deterioration & Replacement (covers cemented and uncemented prosthesis)
• Skin Conditions & Changes (includes: Age/Liver Spots, Seborrheic Keratosis & Shingles

There will also be a 10-minute  instructor demonstration on how to provide a pronated geriatric skin moisturing back massage.
